Could You Make a Real Light Saber?

During my visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida, I got to see toy light sabers being made. They looked like the real thing! I was also impressed with Disney’s investments in FIRST with a focus on reducing barriers to underrepresented, underserved youth. Through the Star Wars: Force for Change philanthropic initiative, Disney provides financial support as well as mentorship and storytelling opportunities to inspire, strengthen, and diversify interest in science and technology careers!

This experience along with my personal love for Star Wars is why I was so excited to answer the Mystery Science question: Could you make a real light saber?
