SHPE Noche de Ciencias - Virtual STEM Nights Powered by Invent The Change
I am excited to partner with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) to empower the Hispanic community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development!
On May 18, 19, & 20 we will be providing 3rd–12th grade students from across the country with free virtual science night events filled with STEM! Students will have the opportunity to engage with college students, university professors, and industry professionals.
On behalf of Invent the Change I will be providing an interactive It’s Not Magic, It’s Science! keynote. I will leverage the entertainment factor of magic to increase excitement and awareness in STEM. This keynote is a performance not a presentation. Each "trick" (experiment) is as entertaining as it is educational and is fun for all ages.
I've designed each one with equity and access in mind so the majority of the experiments can be completed with low-cost items that you have at home or with materials that you can easily order on Amazon for only a few dollars. You won't believe how much excitement you can spark with so little. It's the presentation that makes this series uniquely inspiring!
It’s not magic, it’s science and it’s fun for the whole family!
